Why there are three currencies displayed on our website
Montbell has distribution centers located in Japan, Switzerland and the United States, and the seller, currency, price vary depending on where the order is shipping from. Therefore, a single product may have prices displayed in up to three different currencies.

The displayed product price is 30% of the sourced original price. Worldwide shipping is free ($0.00), with no minimum purchase or transportation surcharges. Gift wrapping fees (if selected) and applicable taxes are separate from shipping. Import duties and taxes depend on the destination.
About import duties and various taxes
When shipping to the United States
- Sales tax is displayed after you enter your address on the address page during checkout.
- Customs duty is included in the price of products shipping from Japan and Switzerland.
When shipping to Japan
- Consumption tax is included in the price of products shipping from within Japan.
- Customs duty and consumption tax are included in the price of products shipping from America and Switzerland.
When shipping to China
- Value-added tax (VAT), import duties, and any other fees applied at the time of importation are not included in the price of the product. The recipient of the order is responsible for all such charges. Contact your local customs office for further information.
When shipping to Switzerland and Liechtenstein
- Value-added tax (VAT) is included in the price of products shipping from within Switzerland.
- Customs duty and value-added tax (VAT) are included in the price of products shipping from America and Japan.
When shipping to an EU member country, United Kingdom, Norway, Holy See(Vatican City State), Monaco, San Marino, Isle of Man, Andorra, Montenegro, Guernsey, Jersey, Aland Islands and Kosovo
- All import-related customs duty and value-added tax (VAT) are included in the price of products.
When shipping to Australia
- Customs duty and Goods and Service Tax (GST) are included in the price of products shipping from Japan and the United States.
When shipping to countries other than the above
- Import duties, Consumption Tax, Value-Added Tax (VAT), Goods and Service Tax (GST), Harmonized Sales Tax (HST), and any other fees applied at the time of importation are not included in the price of the product. The recipient of the order is responsible for all such charges. Contact your local customs office for further information.
About shipping fees
Worldwide shipping is free on every order. No minimum purchase is required. Shipping is $0.00 for every destination, including large items. There are no additional transportation surcharges.

- For shipments to some countries, handling fees are included in the price of the product.
