M.O.C. (Montbell Outdoor Challenge) is Montbell's outdoor activities division and provides the opportunity to participate in trekking, kayaking, rafting, and other tours and events created by the Montbell staff. Our staff all love the outdoors and nature, and we want to share its wonders with as many people as possible.
We'll guide you to our favorite spots we know well. We can also provide insider local knowledge and help you improve your skills effectively.

Hosting community-focused events

Based at Montbell stores nationwide, from Hokkaido to Kyushu, our staff with deep local knowledge plan and run events that highlight each region's unique characteristics. We also collaborate with local educational institutions to support nature experiences, such as inviting community children to participate in rafting and canoeing.

Rafting is an exciting water sport where you ride down the river in an inflatable boat with a guide. Enjoy the thrill of splashing through the water, working together to steer the boat, and conquering the river with your family and friends!

Half-Day Rafting: Shikoku Yoshino River, Motoyama (Motoyama-cho, Nagaoka-gun, Kochi)

Time: 1. 9:00 am - 12:00 pm / 2. 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Fee: 24,000 JPY for 1 - 3 persons, 8,000 JPY for each additional person thereafter

Rafting: Nara Yoshino River, Gojo (Gojo-city, Nara)

Time: 9:40 am - 4:00 pm
Fee: 39,000 JPY for 1 - 4 persons, 13,000 JPY for each additional person thereafter

Half-Day Rafting: Nagatoro, Saitama (Nagatoro, Chichibu-gun, Saitama)

Time: 1. 9:00 am - 12:00 pm / 2. 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Fee: 24,000 JPY for 1 - 3 persons, 8,000 JPY for each additional person thereafter

Kayaking along the beautiful river is a great way to enjoy water sports in Japan. In a single-person kayak, you can paddle on calm, gently flowing water or challenge yourself on whitewater. We offer a variety of courses for everyone, from beginners to experienced kayakers. Experience the thrill of navigating down the river with skill and confidence.

Time: 1. 10:30 am - 12:30 pm / 2. 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Fee: 18,000 JPY for 1-3 persons, 6,000 JPY for each additional person thereafter

Kayak Experience Half-day / Nara Yoshino River, Gojo (Gojo-city, Nara)

Time: 1. 9:20 am - 12:20 pm / 2. 1:20 pm - 4:20 pm
Fee: 21,000 JPY for 1-3 persons, 7,000 JPY for each additional person thereafter
