Montbell Group Companies (which means the companies listed in the list of group companies; hereafter referred to as " Montbell Group Companies" or "we") process personal data of customers (hereinafter referred to as "Customers" or "you") who visit the Montbell Group Global Site (hereinafter referred to as the "Website") as follows, in accordance with the data protection and privacy laws and regulations of each country, including those listed below (hereinafter referred to as "Applicable Data Protection and Privacy Laws").

Personal data that Montbell Group Companies collect directly from Customers is as follows:

Information collected directly from Customers:
Name, address, phone number, email address, user ID and password, information related to product orders and shipping, and other information that can identify a natural person

Information automatically collected through accessing the Website:
IP address, language settings, device information, browser information, session information, time zone and set date/time, referrer, and other information obtainable via JavaScript

As stated in "3. Sharing of personal data" below, Montbell Group Companies may collect personal data from other Montbell Group Companies.
Montbell Group Companies use cookies to collect information from devices that Customers use to access services provided by Montbell Group Companies (hereafter referred to as "Montbell Group Services"). Refer to the

2. Purpose of processing of personal data and legal basis

Montbell Group Companies process Customers' personal data as outlined in the table below:

When the processing of personal data is required by law or contract, failure to provide such data may prevent Montbell Group Companies from performing contracts that we have concluded or will conclude and from providing products and services accurately to the customer.

As stated in "6. Customers' data subject rights" below, Customers have the right to withdraw their consent.

3. Sharing of personal data

In order to achieve the purposes stated in "2. Purpose of processing personal data and legal basis," Montbell Group Companies will share personal data described in "1. Categories of personal data" with third parties in the following cases and when permitted by Applicable Data Protection and Privacy Laws.

Sharing with Montbell Group Companies
Sharing with processors (including shipping companies, sales agents, financial institutions, credit card security solutions companies (Riskified Ltd.))
Sharing with third parties such as courts and police as required by law

4. Cross-border transfer of personal data

As a result of "3. Sharing of personal data" above, Customers' personal data may be transferred from the EEA (European Economic Area) or the UK to the following countries:

Japan
Switzerland
United States

In this case, Montbell Group Companies will provide appropriate safeguards as required by Applicable Data Protection and Privacy Laws of each country or region, including standard data protection clauses (GDPR Article 46(2)(c) and (5)).

5. Processing personal data of customers below the age of 18

Montbell Group Services are not provided for customers below the age of 18, and Montbell Group Companies do not intentionally collect personal data directly from customers below the age of 18.

If Montbell Group Companies become aware that we have collected and processed personal data from customers below the age of 18, we will delete such data as quickly as possible. If you become aware that you have provided personal data of customers below the age of 18, contact us at the contact details in "8. Contact details."

7. Retention period of personal data

Montbell Group Companies do not retain personal data beyond the period necessary to accomplish the purposes mentioned in "2. Purpose of processing personal data and legal basis" or the period required by applicable laws. After the retention period expires, Montbell Group Companies promptly delete such data.
